Ukrainian Railways launched new train route Mukachevo-Košice

On June 9, Ukrainian Railways launched the first train Mukachevo-Košice. Tickets for train costs 7.5 euros, they can be purchased at international cash desks.

Two ZSSK diesel trains will run on this route every day. The journey takes about four hours. In Košice, trains have transfer routes to Prague, Bratislava and other cities in Europe.

The CEO of Ukrainian Railways wrote on his Facebook page that company was preparing for almost a year to open these regular routes to Slovakia and reminded about route Mukachevo-Budapest, that was opened earlier this year, which of his words is very popular.
